Dennis Burnside
Burnside has a 30-plus year resume of serving large and small corporate organizations, the commercial real estate service and investment industry, and the economic development community. This experience and the BurnsideAnalytics commitment to excellence allows him to deliver a superior level of service to his clients .
Burnside graduated from Slippery Rock State University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. After several years in the field of education and then working as an executive search consultant, Burnside joined Grubb & Ellis in 1979.
At Grubb & Ellis, Burnside grew their Detroit, Michigan office into a market leader. Colliers International lured him to Cleveland in 1998, where in six years he helped reestablished Colliers' position as a preeminent firm in Northeast Ohio.
In 2006 Burnside joined Whittaker Associates, an established economic development consulting firm headquartered in Holland, Michigan, as President and CEO.
Burnside realized his entrepreneurial dream; to launch his own consulting firm - BurnsideAnalytics - in 2007
Dennis Burnside is professionally affiliated with the International Economic Development Council, CoreNet Global, the Building Owners Managers Association and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
He serves as a trustee on several nonprofit organizations: currently the Cleveland Zoological Society, North Coast Community Homes, and Cleveland Restoration Society; and formerly with the Downtown Cleveland Partnership and Junior Achievement of Southeast Michigan.
